Grades will be finalized on Friday. WOW! We are in week 27 of 36 and time is rolling by! I am so pleased with how well my classes are doing...perhaps it did make a difference in my slower approach to the program. Reminder - Wednesday is the cutoff for ONE late assignment. Tonight is the cutoff for last week's assignment(s)! You are rockstars. Let's work together to finish this up! |

Highly motivated Juniors: Consider applying for the Futures Tomorrow’s Leaders Program.
This program is an opportunity for high achieving Juniors to meet and interact with community leaders through a year-long program that will allow the students to participate in structured activities and events throughout the community. Students chosen for this program will interact with community leaders in a variety of areas such as Criminal Justice, Social Services, Healthcare, Government and Education. You can find more information on the Futures Foundation web page at - http://FuturesVolusia.org Any students that are interested in applying should see Mr. Austin in student services for information on accessing and turning in the application. The application deadline is September 9, 2016. My body says...OK, you've had enough rest.
My kids say...I'm bored, let's make chocolate! My boss says...let's get ready to rock! My friends say....but, I never saw you this summer! My husband says...I'm teaching agriculture?!!! My dogs say....bark, bark, bark, bark, bark! (That means...we need bacon!) My mind says...I love you summer but, I can't wait for fires in the wood stove. Mama Sampson welcomes her new student babies and looks forward to seeing them excel. Most importantly, I want to see them grow as young men and women, learn to analyze more than spit back information so that they may know that not everything they read, see, or hear is correct. Welcome to my classroom home! PASSION = PURPOSE |
